Tata Harper Deluxe Beauty Set

Finally here it is just in the very nick of time for the holidays – the blog entry I promised you, my loyal readers, about the Tata Harper Deluxe Beauty Set. It is the ultimate sample kit (you know how I LOVE sample kits!) and holiday gift containing 8 products for complete natural beauty. You can use the products both day and night, and I always keep them together in the adorable green velvet pouch. The pouch is perfect for people like me who tend to lose things a lot (LOL!) or others out there who travel. The whole kit sells for $65. This may sound like a lot for just sample size product, but as I’ve told you before, Tata’s products are definitely on the expensive side. Going with Tata is making an investment in all-natural skin care.

I recently made this investment in preparation for Tata’s beauty team coming to BLC to give mini facials. I have to say that using the beauty kit has also been a major time investment. OMG! There were more than a few nights where I just wanted to crash rather than go through the Tata skin care routine, but I was doing work research and so I made myself do it. I guess there are worse things than trying out cool organic skincare products for work? LOL! Here is what I’ve been doing both day and night for the last few weeks:
1. Cleansing my skin with the Regenerating Cleaner.
2. Spraying on the Hydrating Floral Essence
3. Applying the Rejuvenating Serum
4. Massaging in the Rebuilding Moisturizer
5. Gently rubbing on the Restorative Eye Crème
6. Splashing in the Replenishing Nutrient Complex

And then I have to remember to use the Resurfacing Mask for 30 minutes on my face once a week and apply the Revitalizing Body Oil every day after I shower.

When I first started with this new skincare regime, I was a bit overwhelmed, but soon I had all of Tata’s products lined up in order of how I was supposed to use them on my product dresser, and I was good to go. Plus once I opened up that first little glass jar of cleaners (Tata uses glass jars rather than plastic to be more environmentally friendly), I was totally hooked on the amazing smell. I could seriously sit there at my dresser and take in the amazing scents in all of Tata’s mini jars. OMG – the scents are coming back to me now as I write. The products are made from ingredients such as Witch Hazel, Sandalwod, Safflower, Rose, Jasmine, Lavendar, Orange Blossom, Date Palm and oh so many more fabulous natural sources.

I can’t forget to mention that Tata’s 100% Natural and Non Toxic beauty company is based on a 1,200 acre farm in Vermont where Tata oversees all research and development, formulation and packaging. What does that mean exactly? Tata has complete control over her products and works very hard to insure that her products make women feel beautiful and HEALTHY. I love that!

So I was very excited to ask Tata’s people about the story behind the company during my mini facial this past fall. I always love a good story, and they had one to tell. After rinsing off the resurfacing mask, Tata’s distribution team leader explained to me that Tata developed her all-natural skin-care line after her father in law developed cancer. She started thinking about all of the toxins that we put on our bodies everyday and decided she could make a difference in created a skincare line free of toxins. One of the things that stuck with me most about what her people said was that you can’t prevent every single toxin from coming into your body, but you can make small changes – like when you wash and moisturize your face. I so get that especially since my dad died young from cancer, and I always wonder what made him sick. I mean there are so many chemicals that we get exposed to these days – you really never know!

So I really did feel good about putting these all-natural ingredients on my face for the last month, plus my skin has been looking AMAZING and you know I am my own toughest critic. But seriously, my skin looks and feels dewy and refreshed. It also feels fed – you know like with the good kinds of nutrients that it needs. My eyes are less puffy, and I am feeling more and more of that that Madison K. glow! Perhaps you will try out the kit yourself or give to someone you love this holiday season.
