Lovestruck from Vera Wang

I swear there are times when I can smell a scent even before Zsa Zsa can! My girls Jade and Kia make fun of my bloodhound abilities often. But now that I am trying out so many new fragrances for BLC, my gifted nose is definitely coming in handy. LOL!

There are like a gazillion new fragrances that come through the BLC doors, and I have been on the lookout for the perfect everyday fragrance for quite some time. I kind of wanted something not too overpowering, but enough of a scent to make me feel pretty and reveal my individuality. You know like something a little different but not too different. So when I saw the new fragrance, Lovestruck by Vera Wang, come by my desk of course I was immediately obsessed with the bottle. When I spritzed some on, I was completely Lovestruck like the emotion and rush you feel when you are falling in love and going for it… those heart-pounding moments of spontaneity…. At least that’s what Vera Wang says!

I know, I know it’s only a fragrance. But I seriously love this one! And the gorgeous bottle it comes in will make a perfect addition to my ever growing perfume bottle collection. Lovestruck’s rectangular shaped glass bottle with just a tint of purple is topped off with a dark purple bow and acrylic purple roses. As always, I spritz the perfume in front of me and walk through it – a little trick I learned along the way to make sure I never smell too fragrant.

I love the subtle hints of fruit in its pink guava and mandarin. My ever so sensitive nose picks up the mixture of tuberose and lotus blossom, and the light touch of precious woods and sheer musk mixed in working together in a very delicate way.

You don’t have to worry about taking over the room with your scent when you are wearing Lovestruck. It’s really pretty and just the right amount of fragrance. A 1 oz. bottle of the perfume sells for $48, and this will last you a long time. So go ahead and try it. Show the world what or who you are in love with. Remember… It’s all about the fun….
