Frat Boy by The Balm

I once had a MAJOR CRUSH on this Penn State frat boy when I was in high school, and at that time he was my end all be all. LOL But now I’m so over him! He was so cute, but kind of boring once he actually paid attention to me. And now that I am actually in college and so busy working for BLC, I can’t be wasting time with boys who basically party and drink all the time. I am so over those types.

It was so funny when this new product crossed my desk called Frat Boy shadow/blush made by one of my favorite companies, The Balm. It made me laugh about my one time frat boy crush. You know what a multi-tasker I am, so the fact that I can use this product on both my eyes and cheeks is huge for me. I will definitely bring it with me in my BLC wristlet when I go out with Jade and Kia for New Year’s eve (more on that after the big night out!)

The shadow/blush is packaged in The Balm’s signature cardboard retro case, and the picture of the 50s rosy cheeked girl kissing her football playing, frat boy boyfriend makes me smile. When you open the case, you’ll love the compact mirror, which is framed in a green colored re-production of a football field complete with the yard lines. The magnetic pull on the lid is great for spazzes like me who sometimes forget to close product lids –LOL! I love when a company goes the extra step in clever packaging. It makes it fun and different.

Of course, the packaging can only take you so far. The actual product has to live up to its cuteness. And in this case, it does: Inside is a velvety smooth, peachy-apricot double duty shadow/blush made of a fine graded powder formula that adds the perfect amount of color to your cheeks, your eyes, or both! Plus its talc and paraben free and when it comes to those ingredients you know that I believe less is more.
