The Natural Organic Lipscrub

So I have a new obsession, and it’s these natural organic amazing lipscrubs. You know how as the weather changes and the heat goes on and off, your lips get that dry hard skin on them. I hate that! Definitely not good for kissing! LOL I have tried lots of balms and lip treatments that really do keep your lips nice and soft. But once that crusty stuff gets on your lips, it’s time to get a good lipscrub, and I have one for you!

The Natural Organic Lipscrub combines two of my most favorite things or should I say obsessions – exfoliation for lips and sweet tastes. YUM!!! I am completely addicted! First the exfoliation part. You know how I feel about exfoliation. It’s soooo important for your body, your face and of course your lips. I’ve tried many lipscrubs for dry, flakey lips, and this is really one of the best. Plus it’s all natural!!! Yay!!!! That means no petrolatum, no parabens and nothing artificial. I’m not completely opposed to chemicals in products; I mean sometimes you really need them to get the job done. But, if you can find a product without chemicals that really does work, well then it’s all good!!! Especially for something you are using on your lips!

The natural ingredients in the lipscrub include organic sugar, organic flavors, vitamin E, castor oil, safflower oil and beeswax. They all work together to exfoliate, condition and even plump your lips (hello Angelina Jolie!) I actually keep one (the Organic Raspberry-Lemonade flavor) in my shower and use every morning. I just apply a pea-sized amount on my lips, rub in for about a minute, and then rinse off with a warm washcloth.

Of course I also keep the Refreshing Organic Peppermint flavor in my Fluff makeup bag to use during the day (because I am so addicted.) When I am at the office, I wipe off the extra product with a tissue or sometimes I just lick it off. It’s like a tiny little organic sugar treat! You can use it in a variety of other sweet flavors including Lavender Organic Lemonade, Zesty Organic Lemon, Luscious Organic Lime, Tangy Organic Orange and Juicy Organic Raspberry. After using, you will see added natural color to your lips, and if you want, you can top off with your favorite gloss or lipstick. Lately for me that’s The Balm Girls Lipstick. One jar of the Natural Lipscrub costs $20. It should last a while if you don’t apply too much like I do – I seriously have a problem (LOL).

Now we all know Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and these make the cutest gifts even for the most limited budgets. Clarins Super Restorative Day Cream

So I noticed lately that Nina’s skin has been looking extra dewy and smooth and wondered what she’s been using. Nina is definitely old school and not as much of a product junkie as I am so she stays with things a lot longer than I do – definitely an admirable trait that ADD me could learn from. Anyway, I kept staring at her skin all day and finally asked her what she was using. Sometimes I need her input for my blogs and definitely wanted to know what was making her glow.
